Omnilap is a desktop telemetry app for iRacing. It reads the files the sim already writes, lines your laps up by distance, and shows you where the time was lost.

Ford Mustang GT3 at Sebring International Raceway. Lap 56 of the race, a 2:03.715, drawn over lap 58, the 2:02.963 that was the fastest of the session. Drag across the trace, or pick a sector to zoom in.

It reads what iRacing already writes.

Telemetry files (.ibt)
Point Omnilap at your iRacing telemetry folder. Each file becomes an event with its sessions, stints and laps.
Ghost laps (.blap, .olap)
The best and optimal laps iRacing saves are listed next to your events and can be charted like any other lap.
Setups (.sto)
Setups are listed with the car they belong to, tagged and searchable like everything else.
Garage 61 exports (.csv)
Bring a lap exported from Garage 61 and draw it over your own as the comparison.
Replays
View on iRacing jumps the sim replay to the lap you are reading, so you can watch what the trace describes.

Two laps on one distance axis.

Pick a lap and a lap to compare it with. Omnilap lines them up by distance, draws the time delta on top, and puts both driven lines on the track's real tarmac beside them. The strip above the traces is the track's own timing sectors.

Main, Inputs and Roll/Pitch are shown here; Inputs swaps the racing line for a map that colours both laps by what the pedals were doing. The app also has Tires, Dampers, FFB and PC tabs for files that carry those channels.

This window works. Switch between Main, Inputs and Roll/Pitch, or drag across a trace.

Everything you have driven, in one list.

The Data Book lists every event Omnilap has found, with its track, car, fastest lap and lap count. Press F to add a filter, stack as many as you need, and match all or any of them. Select a row and its sector times open beside it.

Events, laps and telemetry open in tabs, and Ctrl N opens another window, so a second monitor can hold the comparison while the first holds the list.

Events, ghost laps and setups, grouped by when you drove them.

A race, stint by stint.

An event is one iRacing session. Its laps are grouped into stints, with pit laps, off-tracks and the fastest lap marked, and fuel used beside each time. J and K move through the laps, Enter opens one in Telemetry, T compares it.

The Sebring International Raceway race behind this page: 60 timed laps over six stints, fastest 2:02.963 on lap 58.

Built to be driven from the keyboard.

Omnilap has a command palette, and the commands you use between laps have a key of their own.

Your laps stay on your disk.

Omnilap keeps its index in a SQLite database and its telemetry cache in Parquet files, both on your own machine. There is no account to create and nothing is uploaded.

That is also why it is quick. A lap opens from the cache next to it, not from a server on the other side of a login.

Omnilap is in private beta.

It runs on Windows and goes out to a small group of drivers. There is no public sign-up yet.

Until there is, the lap at the top of this page and the Telemetry window above are the app itself, not pictures of it. Drag across either one.
